Responsibilities

• Coordinates and collaborates with food service staff to meet meal service times.
• Reviews daily production records and procures ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares simple items and handles fruit/vegetable prep; assembles salads, sandwiches, and baked goods.
• Portions and packs items for satellite feeding.
• Sets up serving counters, serves students and staff, and replenishes items as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen, dining areas, and equipment; washes utensils and linens.
• Properly labels, stores, and disposes leftovers.
• Receives provisions, checks temperatures, reports discrepancies, maintains monthly inventory.
• Oversees student helper(s) and participates in staff meetings; completes USDA training hours.
