Qualifications

• Ability to work cooperatively with others, accept direction, and complete tasks as assigned.
• Serv-Safe Certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year and keep current.
• Willingness to be assigned at any site within the base operation.
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
• Ability to meet physical requirements: standing, lifting, bending, moving in a busy setting.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or assist in preparing food as assigned.
• Complete clean-up and dishwashing duties as assigned.
• Report food supply needs and problems to the Site Supervisor.
• Serve food to students and adults using portion control standards.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Assist with any phase of kitchen operations.
• Operate computerized cash register system.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.
• Follow dietary need regulations for students.
• Attend mandatory program trainings.
• Support the WCPS Food & Nutrition Services mission.
• Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor to all stakeholders.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
