Zusammenfassung

Up Valley Float Cafeteria Manager School is seeking a hands-on Cafeteria Manager to organize daily lunch production, ensure NSLP compliance, and supervise cafeteria staff.

Under the Nutritional Services department, you will oversee menu planning, portions, cashiering, inventory, and safety standards while coordinating with the Director and Area Operations Managers. This is a full-time role with a 35-hour work week and solid benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Have ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to read, write, understand and follow written and verbal instructions as normally acquired through completion of high school diploma/GED.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical equations and operate computer-cashiering system, as well as maintain accurate student data via computer.
• 2 years of experience in quantity food production and preparation with 6 months supervisory experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively.

Aufgaben

• Supervise school lunch program and train food service staff at assigned school.
• Plan daily production schedule to meet meal counts with minimal waste.
• Maintain records for free, reduced, and paid student statuses per state rules.
• Cashier POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure sanitation and safety per health department standards.
• Prepare food orders and biweekly inventory.
• Delegate tasks to staff to ensure timely service.
