Job summary

REYNOLDS SD 7 REYNOLDS HIGH SCHOOL - Troutdale, Oregon is hiring a Cook for 3 hours per day under the direction of the Food Services Manager. The role involves cooking, baking, preparing and distributing food for students and staff, while keeping facilities sanitary.

Primary duties include dishwashing and supporting other cooks as needed. Requires high school diploma; bilingual/bicultural skills preferred and prior food prep helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual/Bicultural preferred.
• Experience in food preparation helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food and beverages to meet nutritional requirements and menus.
• Cleans and maintains utensils, equipment, and prep/serving areas for sanitary conditions.
• Prepares documentation and reports for written support or conveying information.
• Requests food, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory for efficient work.
• Maintains positive relations with students, staff, and the community to support the district’s food program.
• Accounts for cash transactions to maintain accurate monetary records.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
• Assists other personnel to support their work activities.
