Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School LPN/LVN for a contract- full-time opening in Millville, PA. The role supports students' health needs in a school setting, under state regulations, with a 35-hour workweek and $35/hour pay.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN/LVN license, has experience with children, and collaborates with the school nurse to promote a safe learning environment and timely health care for students.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN/LVN license
• One year nursing experience; school/pediatric preferred
• Experience with children and adolescents
• CPR certification
• TB screening/PPD or chest x-ray as applicable
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Meets federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Monitor student health concerns and provide nursing support
• Administer medications and treatments as delegated or ordered
• Provide first aid and care for illness or injury
• Support students with chronic health needs
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate with families and staff
• Collaborate with the school nurse to ensure safety and well-being
• Promote health education and disease prevention per district/state requirements
