Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School LPN/LVN to provide nursing support in a Dallas, OR school environment. The role involves monitoring health concerns, administering medications, and coordinating with the school nurse to keep students safe and healthy.

The position requires an active LPN/LVN license and at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in school or pediatric settings. CPR as applicable and compliance with health regulations are required.

Qualifications

Current, active LPN/LVN license.
Minimum 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a school, pediatric, community health, or public health setting.
Experience working with children and adolescents.
Knowledge of community health resources and public health services.
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Current CPR certification if applicable.
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing support to students in the school setting.
Monitor student health concerns and administer medications as delegated.
Provide first aid and care for illness or injury.
Maintain accurate health records and communicate with families and school staff.
Work with the school nurse to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
Promote health education, disease prevention, and student well-being.
