The Nutrition Group in Kentucky is seeking a substitute food service worker to support a local school kitchen on an as-needed basis. Duties include cooking and food preparation, portioning, sanitation, and cashier duties as needed.

The role requires following USDA guidelines, HACCP compliance, cost and inventory awareness, and reliable transportation. This position offers flexible hours and opportunities to contribute to healthy meals for students.

Qualifications

• Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks.
• Ability to read recipes and basic math skills required.
• A positive and consistent work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsabilités

• Cooking and food preparation for meals.
• Portioning and serving food to students and staff.
• Sanitation in accordance with USDA and state guidelines.
• HAACP and health department regulation compliance.
• Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls.
