The Nutrition Group is seeking a substitute food service worker to support a local school cafeteria on an as-needed basis. You will assist with meal preparation, portioning, serving, and maintaining a clean, sanitary environment.

Responsibilities include following USDA and state guidelines, handling cash transactions, and helping monitor costs and inventory. Prior food service experience and reliability are valued.

Formación

• Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks.
• Ability to read recipes and basic math skills required.
• A positive and consistent work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• A willingness to learn and grow within your position.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Cooking and food preparation.

• Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls.
• Operating a cash register/money handling.
