Job summary

Christian County School District is seeking a school cafeteria cook to prepare, cook, bake, and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned school site. You will assist in other food preparation tasks and maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.

The role includes training and directing other staff as needed. Applicants must meet state background check and health requirements to be employed by the district.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete training course for certification of beginning school food personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045.
• Must meet the requirements for a criminal records check as specified by Kentucky state law.
• Must meet health requirements as specified in district personnel policy.
