Job summary

Christian County High School is seeking a school cafeteria worker to prepare, cook, bake, and serve foods in quantity at the assigned site. You will assist with other food prep tasks and keep facilities clean and sanitary.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of state training, and passing criminal history and health checks. Training will be provided as needed to ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must complete training course for certification of beginning school food personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045.
• Must meet criminal record check requirements as specified by Kentucky state law.
• Must meet health requirements as specified in district personnel policy.
• National and state criminal history background check with CHFS clearance letter required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake, and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned school site.
• Assist in other food preparation duties as directed.
• Maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Train and provide work direction to others.
