Job summary

Opaa! Food Management seeks a Kitchen Manager to direct day-to-day kitchen operations, ensure safety and health regulation compliance, and uphold Opaa! standards.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating meal production and transport to satellite buildings, and maintaining HACCP and compliance with HHFKA/CACFP. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Relevant Experience Required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food preparation to maintain quality standards.
• Promote customer service by investigating and resolving quality and service complaints.
• Coordinate preparation and daily transportation of meals to satellite buildings.
• Supervise kitchen staff and delegate workflow; report concerns.
• Train and cross-train kitchen staff; maintain cleanliness and organization.
