Job summary
Opaa! Food Management is seeking a Kitchen Manager to direct day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to Opaa! standards and all safety and health regulations. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating meal preparation and transportation to satellite buildings, and maintaining records and compliance with HACCP and HHFKA/CACFP guidelines. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential, with emphasis on safety, quality, and customer service.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Serve Safe Certification; additional certifications may vary by state.
Ability to supervise kitchen staff and coordinate production.
Maintain HACCP compliance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Monitor food preparation to maintain quality and sanitation.
Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints.
Coordinate meal preparation and daily transportation to satellite buildings, if applicable.
Conduct daily safety and production meetings with kitchen staff.
Supervise kitchen staff in all production areas and delegate workflow.
