The Nutrition Group is seeking a Kitchen Manager for a large K-12 school cafeteria operation. You will oversee food production, staff training, and ensure compliance with national school meal programs.

Candidate should have 1–2 years of staff management, food service experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of staff management experience.
• Experience in food service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read recipes and perform basic math conversions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain background checks/clearances.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food production on a large scale.
• Train school cafeteria staff.
• Ensure compliance with National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs.
• Collaborate with regional chefs on recipes.
• Maintain daily production records and paperwork.
• Support catered events as needed.
• Utilize kitchen equipment effectively.
