Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required by OAR/ED regulations.
• Willingness to upgrade skills and training in all phases of school food service.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Preferred one year of experience in school food service.
• Experience in quantity food preparation preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train personnel and students effectively.
• Assist with preparation of all menu items per daily production schedule.
• Prepare and serve food.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness of area, equipment, and dishes.
• Report quantities of supplies used and order supplies as needed.
• Input student information and deposits into approved computer system.
