Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare simple foods and serve meals.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Good communication with students, parents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble meals and ala carte servings, such as sandwiches, salads and fruit dishes.
• Prepare and maintain salad bar.
• Set up and prepare serving areas, clean and sanitize kitchen and eating area.
• Portion and serve food to students and staff in accordance with health and sanitation regulations.
• Load, unload and store food and cleaning supplies to maintain inventory levels.
• Maintain appropriate certificates and training hours.
• Ability to perform cashier duties with accuracy.
• Act as a friendly ambassador for the North Bend School District.
