Douglas County School District operates a kitchen at STEM Charter School to support daily lunch services. The Kitchen Assistant follows menus, assists with meal preparation, serves meals, and ensures compliance with health standards and regulations.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for extended periods, and a willingness to train. This part-time position offers benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in school or institutional food service is a plus.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle monies accurately.

Responsabilités

• Operate Point of Sale system with accuracy and reconcile monies daily.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Participate in PGI Classes training and may lead training for others.
• Serve meals daily while complying with all school food regulations and health dept. sanitation standards.
• Assist in set up and cleanup of serving areas for timely service to students.
