Aramark’s culinary team at Atlantic City Public Schools is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life, using fresh ingredients and a variety of cooking styles. You’ll work in a supportive environment with safety guidelines that help you perform at your best, while you explore new flavors and techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
