Job summary

Aramark in Atlantic City is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life, work with fresh ingredients, and explore diverse cuisines while adhering to safety guidelines.

You will set up stations, measure ingredients, operate ovens and equipment, and maintain cleanliness. Prior cooking experience and food safety certification are preferred. This is an hourly, full-time role with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and portion food items.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and employ various cooking methods.
• Store and sanitize food, maintain cleanliness and safety.
