Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods and sanitation.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, trimming and peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives and operate ovens, stoves, mixers, slicers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use multiple cooking methods.
• Arrange, garnish and portion food according to standards.
• Adhere to food safety policies and sanitize work areas and tools.
• Maintain courteous service and a positive demeanor with guests and colleagues.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and protect company assets.
