Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least some work experience or vocational training related to cleaning equipment, food preparation, or general cleaning preferred.
• Certain positions may require a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc., and stores them properly.
• Maintains products at required levels in prep, serving, or storage areas, including service machines.
• Stocks storage areas with various products.
• Cleans, sweeps, and wipes dining, kitchen, or storage areas and equipment.
• Removes garbage and prepares break-down/setup of tables and serving lines.
• Assists with periodic large cleaning projects and coordinates with others.
• May assist cooks by preparing food or cooking vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.
• Other department duties as assigned.
