Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Kitchen Assistant - At Large for East Highlands Ranch. The role supports daily meal preparation, serves students, handles dishwashing and sanitation, and maintains production records. You will rotate across kitchens under supervision and travel to multiple sites as needed.

Certifications: ServSafe within 6 months; Education: High School or equivalent. The position requires strong customer service and the ability to work with a diverse group of staff,

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily meal counts and production records.
• Assist setup and cleanup of serving areas and ensure timely service to students.
• Operate POS system and reconcile monies daily for accuracy.
• Receive deliveries, store food and supplies, and manage inventory.
• Attend USDA mandatory training and ensure HACCP compliance.
