Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent blend of education and hands-on experience).
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT technical support, field services, or network administration.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, Palo Alto PCNSA, Aruba ACMA, or Microsoft/Google are preferred.
• Frequent travel within the Region 3 area required; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for ESC fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution for complex hardware, software, and networks at regional school districts.
• Support internal ESC operations and help desk activities as needed.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain campus network switches and VLANs; manage DHCP/DNS and WAN links.
• Install and monitor school-wide wireless networks (Aruba/Ubiquiti/Meraki) for high-density classroom devices.
• Document configurations, diagrams, and SOPs; ensure compliance with laws and ESC policies.
