Job summary

Region 18 ESC in Texas is seeking a Network Analyst to administer and operate the district's central administrative computer networks, developing, maintaining, and monitoring LAN and WAN infrastructure across district sites.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with the Technology Director to ensure security, backups, and reliable connectivity for district devices and users.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in network administration preferred.
• Two years of experience performing network maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve network hardware and software problems.
• Install and test network hardware, software, and upgrades.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on hardware.
• Coordinate and monitor system utilization; recommend improvements as needed.
• Maintain and monitor active network gear; switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, etc.
• Configure and secure the district wireless network.
