Job summary

Christ Covenant Church & Covenant Day School is seeking an IT Coordinator to provide frontline desktop and help desk support for faculty, staff and students. The role focuses on maintaining reliable technology across the campus, troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity and user accounts, and escalating when needed.

This full‑time, on‑site position reports to the IT Director and covers the full calendar year, with a hands-on, service‑oriented approach to keep devices and classroom

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or related IT role.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, imaging and deployment.
• Basic networking concepts: Wi‑Fi, VPN, DHCP, DNS.
• Strong customer-service, communication, organization and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move between campus locations.
• CompTIA A+, Network+ or similar certification is a plus.
• On-site work in Matthews, NC required.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline desktop and help desk support using remote tools.
• Troubleshoot Windows computers, peripherals, printers, and related systems.
• Image, deploy, maintain, and track IT assets across the campus.
• Support classroom technology and connectivity (ViewSonic, projectors, displays).
• Support Microsoft 365 apps and school applications; assist with email issues.
• Manage user accounts and access rights; assist with server connectivity as needed.
