Job summary

Christ Covenant Church & Covenant Day School is seeking an IT Coordinator to provide frontline desktop support for faculty, staff, and students. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while maintaining classroom technology and end-user devices across the campus.

Reporting to the IT Director, the role is full-time and on-site in Matthews, NC. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of relevant experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support, help desk operations, or related IT role.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, repair, imaging, and deployment.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts: Wi‑Fi, VPN, DHCP, DNS.
• Strong customer-service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 40 pounds and move between campus locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline desktop and help desk support using Spiceworks, TeamViewer, and other remote-support tools.
• Diagnose and repair Windows PCs, laptops, peripherals, printers, and Canon systems.
• Image, deploy, maintain, and track computers and IT assets.
• Support classroom technology such as ViewSonic displays, projectors, and document cameras.
• Support Microsoft 365, Adobe CS, and other school applications.
• Troubleshoot software installation, updates, and email issues on computers and mobile devices.
• Assist with wireless connectivity, VPN, access points, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Manage Active Directory user accounts, groups, passwords, and access rights.
• Support PaperCut Mobility Print and school telephony systems as assigned.
