Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to medically fragile students under nurse supervision.
• Administer first aid and provide immediate medical attention as directed.
• Coordinate medications and treatments under the school nurse guidance.
• Maintain accurate health documentation and mandated state reports.
• Record emergencies and update health-related anecdotes for student records.
• Assist with vision and hearing testing as required by health directives.
• Support data collection for immunization, dental, vision and hearing screenings.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of health information.
