Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of college or 41 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license from Illinois.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Eligible for NCLEX-PN.
• 2 years of nursing assistant experience.
• Valid License

Responsibilities

• Assist in primary care of medically fragile students under RN supervision.
• Provide first aid at building level.
• Coordinate medical service and treatment with the school nurse.
• Maintain health data and reports for state mandates.
• Travel within the district as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of health information.
