Dolton West School District 148 is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic healthcare services for students during the school day. You will work under supervision of an RN or administrator, following a school-year calendar.

The role includes administering medications, health screenings, and documenting care, with emphasis on 504/IEP coordination and emergency response in a school setting.

Qualificações

• Active LPN license (Illinois)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Pediatrics or school health experience preferred
• Knowledge of common childhood conditions and medications

Responsabilidades

• Provide first aid and basic medical care for injuries and illnesses
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures)
• Assist students with special healthcare needs including toileting and feeding
• Work with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health
