Job summary

BASIS Independent Bothell is seeking a School Health Coordinator to oversee student health services, records, and compliance. You will work with the student support team to monitor health needs and partner with families and staff to ensure safe, healthy learning environments.

Responsibilities include maintaining first aid standards, organizing health records, and coordinating with the operations team on hygienic facilities, while supporting attendance and data tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• An associate's degree and valid fingerprint clearance.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent growth and development.
• Experience treating minor injuries and providing medical support to patients or students.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Flexible hours are required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains standards of first aid care for emergency treatment of student injuries and illness during the school day; keeps the health clinic neat and organized.
• Organizes and maintains student health records, medication cabinets, medical administration and daily clinic records, and prepares required reports.
• Collaborates with the student support team to develop protocol and programming for safety and well-being of students PK-12.
• Communicates effectively with student support team and families regarding health and well-being.
• Reviews records from students' previous schools and communicates with families regarding updates (e.g., immunizations).
• Ensures compliance with applicable City, State and Federal health regulations.
• Collaborates with operations team to develop hygienic facility protocols.
• Supports attendance by assisting students who must use medication.
• Supports administration with data collection and answering questions; performs additional tasks as needed.
