Job summary

Alliance Community Healthcare is seeking a Treatment Specialist to serve as the primary school-based wellness coordinator. You will connect students with medical, dental, vision, behavioral health, and community resources, working with students, families, school staff, and healthcare providers.

The role includes coordinating referrals, facilitating workshops, supporting enrollment into health services, and fostering a safe, healthy school environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Public Health, Education, Sociology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of one year experience with children, adolescents, schools, healthcare, behavioral health, or community programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate referrals for medical, dental, vision and behavioral health services and track through completion.
  • Plan and deliver workshops and classroom presentations on student wellness and safety topics.
  • Assist with enrollment into school-based health services and care coordination.
  • Communicate with parents regarding appointments and follow-up care; connect families with community resources.
  • Maintain accurate service logs, documentation, and HIPAA/FERPA compliant records.
  • Support clinic operations: schedule clinics, verify consent and insurance, and coordinate with school staff.
