Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District is hiring a Health Assistant for Fireside Elementary School. The role is 9 months, at .8125 FTE (6.5 hours daily), with a start ASAP and end date 5/27/2027.

Salary is scheduled as Grade 13, $15.44 per hour, reporting to the Building Administrator or School Nurse. The Health Assistant will support the nurse, administer emergency first aid, assist with health screenings, maintain patient records, and perform light clerical duties to ensure smooth health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Experience with health office procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers first aid and medications under supervision.
• Assists nurse with health screenings and paperwork.
