Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Maine Driver's License.
• CHRC check required or in process at time of hire.
• At least 2 years of relevant groundskeeping experience preferred.
• High School or Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Year‑round grounds maintenance for the district’s schools and buildings.
• Prepare fields for events (football, soccer, lacrosse, baseball/softball) and setup/breakdown.
• Maintain fields: clay work, moisture control, raking, dragging, lining.
• Operate equipment: mowers, tractors, weed eaters, and irrigation components.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on grounds equipment.
• Assist with snow removal during winter and on‑call duties as needed.
