Job summary

The Keene School District is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces and athletic fields across facilities. This full-time role reports to the Director of Buildings and Grounds and supports events, ceremonies, and everyday grounds maintenance.

Qualifications include prior grounds keeping experience and a valid Driver's License for operating equipment and pesticide application; health and dental benefits are provided with NH Retirement System enrollment.

Qualifications

• Prior grounds keeping or landscaping experience preferred.
• Driver's License, the ability to safely operate grounds keeping equipment and handle pesticide applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor spaces, athletic fields (e.g., track, football), and recreational areas.
• Prepare and set up grounds for special events, assemblies, and ceremonies, including graduation.
• Perform routine grounds maintenance, erosion control, and safe application of pesticides.
• Ensure all school outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and visually appealing year-round.
