Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have approved Maine CHRC (Criminal History Records Check) at time of hire.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Learn the major building system and basic troubleshooting.
• Clean hallways, classrooms, bathrooms, offices, gyms, walls, floors and other areas as assigned.
• Remove trash and recycling from the building.
• Clean and sanitize desks, bathrooms, and high touch areas.
• Check and restock paper products in bathrooms.
• Assist with snow removal and ground maintenance as needed.
• Perform deep summer cleaning at the schools.
• Move furniture when necessary.
• Ensure exterior doors are locked and secure at end of shift.
• Provide information on repairs or issues to the head custodian regularly.
• Respond to after-hours building issues when necessary.
