Perrysburg Exempted Village School District in Perrysburg, Ohio is seeking a full-time 7.12 Maintenance/Grounds Specialist II to maintain school facilities. The role reports to the Executive Director of Business Operations and is non-exempt, with a work schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 260 days per year.

The position involves performing grounds and maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, and maintaining equipment and buildings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required and valid driver’s license.
• Self-directed and able to learn quickly.
• Experience in maintenance operations of physical plant and facilities.

Responsabilités

• Performs grounds and maintenance duties related to the school plant, buildings, facilities and equipment.
• Maintain and prepare equipment for storage; remove snow, ice and debris as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations; participate in safety training.
• Protect district equipment and property; respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Communicate effectively and work with others to solve problems as part of a team.
