Job summary

Perrysburg Exempted Village School District in Perrysburg, Ohio seeks a 12 Month Custodian for the District/Junior High to maintain building, grounds and safety requirements. The role reports to the Executive Director of Business Operations and is full-time non-exempt with evening hours.

Starting immediately, you will perform custodial tasks, handle cleaning duties, assist with moves, and ensure facilities meet standards. Rate of pay is $20.29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Ability to make clear and comprehensive reports.
• Professional tact and presentation with staff, students and community.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial work for routine care and maintenance of the building and grounds.
• Maintain and follow cleaning schedules with principal/designee.
• Keep boiler room clean (if applicable) and regulate heat/AC when needed.
• Assist in loading/unloading deliveries and stocking supplies.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, windows, chalkboards and floors daily.
• Secure the building daily and ensure energy efficiency.
• Assist lunchroom staff with housekeeping in kitchen/cafeteria.
