Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Types correspondence including memoranda, letters, and reports.
  • Answers and directs telephone calls from principals, teachers, parents, and the general public.
  • Forwards complaints to appropriate personnel.
  • Responds to requests for information, where appropriate.
  • Processes incoming requests for information and assistance.
  • Maintains accurate and complete records and reports.
  • Processes and distributes Central Office mail on daily basis.
  • Operates a variety of office equipment including photocopier, facsimile machine, computer and postage meter, etc.
  • Inputs and retrieves data and text.
  • Organizes and maintains disk storage and filing.
  • Follows district’s overtime policy and fixed asset procedures at all times.
  • Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.
  • Assists in the fostering and promotion of a positive school/office climate.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor during all interactions between colleagues, parents, students and administration.
