Job summary

Exeter SAU 16 is seeking a Food Services Assistant Manager at Stratham Memorial School to oversee menu planning, nutrition compliance and daily food service operations. You will help ensure quality, portion control and adherence to federal standards and HACCP guidelines in a school setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Director, staff training, recordkeeping and participation in product evaluations and taste testing to improve offerings for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Methods of preparing and serving a variety of foods from fresh, canned, dry or frozen.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Cleaning and sanitation methods used in a food service environment.
• Basic arithmetic and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing menu plans based on nutrition, budget and federal standards.
