Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Food and Nutrition or Institutional Food Services degree required.
• Three years of successful experience in school foods service management and supervision at a central office level.
• One year of supervisory experience in a large commercial kitchen or food service environment.
• Previous merchandising and marketing experience preferred.
• Commitment to equity and dismantling oppression in education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily food service operations at assigned school and supervises staff to complete tasks.
• Markets and merchandises foods and services within a school-based environment.
• Plans, coordinates, and conducts training of food service staff.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with USDA school meals programs and health/sanitation laws.
• Develops and oversees work schedules and production standards.
• Oversees inventory, ordering, and cost controls for food service operations.
• Coordinates menu preparation with nutritional analysis and recipe testing.
• Assists in determining types and quantities of food and supplies to purchase.
