Qualifications

• Experience managing a school district food service operation.
• Knowledge of USDA and Department of Education guidelines.
• Experience maintaining HACCP logs and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Check HACCP logs and ensure completion.
• Maintain clean and safe kitchen environments.
• Ensure menus and recipes meet The Nutrition Group standards.
• Keep daily production records up to date.
• Review and submit PFG orders input by Kitchen Managers.
• Provide on-the-spot training when necessary.
• Ensure compliance for breakfast and lunch operations with state and federal guidelines.
• Assist with inventory control and end-of-month inventory.
• Complete mock inspections and client observations for readiness.
• Report sales fluctuations to the operations director.
• Meet weekly with the operations director for updates.
• Assist with special events and promotions.
• Conduct interviews when needed.
• Input inventory data for USDA and Purchased categories.
• Support kitchen office organization and uphold upward/downward communication.
