27J Schools in the Denver metro area seeks a Nutrition Services Supervisor to oversee on-site meal preparation, staff management, and financial reporting for the Nutrition Services operation.

You will prepare reports, supervise staff, count inventory, and ensure compliance with nutrition regulations while coordinating with principals, parents, and the community. This role offers benefits and a 9-month schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math, writing, reading, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of large quantity food preparation and sanitary food practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a stressful environment and deal with difficult situations and people.
• Must be able to pass a Colorado and Federal Bureau of Investigation background check.

Responsabilités

• Perform and supervise activities related to food preparation per federal, state, and district guidelines.
• Complete, compile, and/or run various daily reports including menu worksheets, time sheets, labor sheet, banking check list, deposit slips, order forms for various supplies, enter sales from a la carte, and sales activity sheets.
• Manage customer accounts including updating free/reduced status, PIN setup, refunds, and address changes.
• Schedule and adjust employee hours and assignments based on staffing needs; schedule self into rotation.
• Train and evaluate employees in food preparation, safety, sanitation, and customer relations.
• Implement operating changes to daily routines, processes, and menus.
• Discuss nutrition regulations and program details with principals, staff, parents, and community.
• Collect past due amounts and run notices; finalize monthly reports (CDE-13, labor).
• Develop and implement promotions for child nutrition programs.
• Attend and participate in nutrition meetings; count inventory.
