Job summary

Northern York County School District is seeking a Food Service Aide for all buildings. The role covers 4.0 hours daily (approx. 9:00 am-1:00 pm) with a pay rate of $15.00/hour.

• High school diploma or equivalent or 3 months related experience or training.
• Clearances required: Act 34, Act 151 and FBI fingerprints, with updates every five years.
• A negative TB test is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods in kind and quantity according to dietary standards.
• Prepare serving stations for breakfast or lunch services.
• Plate foods in service line during breakfast and/or lunch.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) computer system.
• Restock and maintain food items on serving line during service.
• Clean and sanitize lunch tables and service areas.
• Adhere to uniform requirements and safe handling.
• Attend meetings as directed.
