Responsibilities

Uses recipes to prepare food for service.
Operates equipment such as slicer, grinder, mixer, can opener, dishwasher, stove, oven, steam table, POS system, calculator, steamer, kettle, grill, chopper, and pulper.
Serves meals with approved utensils and ensures correct portions.
Follows food safety guidelines: wash hands, wear gloves, time-stamp food, rotate stock using FIFO.
Maintains a clean work area and table surfaces.
Participates in daily cleaning of the facility and equipment.
Assists in cleaning cafeteria tables and chairs; supports food service operations.
