Job summary

Qualifications

• General knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, strips, waxes and buffs floor surfaces.
• Cleans restroom areas and replenishes supplies.
• Dusts and cleans desks and other furniture.

Responsibilities

• Empties trash receptacles and disposes recyclables.
• Polices grounds; shovels snow and applies de-icing compounds.
• Replaces burned-out light bulbs.
• May open/secure buildings at start or end of day.
• May turn on/off lights and adjust HVAC.
