Qualifications

• General knowledge of school heating system operation and maintenance.
• Possess physical strength sufficient to perform assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs recurring tasks under direct supervision in accordance with established practices and cleaning schedules.
• Changes in work methods or procedures are indicated by a supervisor and reviewed to assure completion of assignments.
• Performs heavier cleaning tasks in school buildings including stripping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and buffing.
• Washes windows, vacuums carpets, cleans restrooms and fixtures, and replenishes supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness and reports damages or needs for repairs.
• Cleans sidewalks and grounds; grass cutting and shrubbery care.
• Attends training to improve job efficiency and knowledge.
