Job summary

Coweta County Schools is seeking a Maintenance General at Lee Middle School. The role covers carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance with duties including building, repairing, and maintaining facilities and outdoor areas, and supporting athletic field upkeep.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (vocational training preferred) and basic experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance; training and/or experience will be evaluated individually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.
• Formal training or practical experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry construction, alterations and repairs.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical fixtures and equipment.
• Install, alteration, maintenance and repair of plumbing equipment and fixtures.
• Establish and maintain athletic fields and adjacent grounds, equipment, and facilities including grassed areas, shrubs and trees, sidewalks, drives and parking areas.
• Perform other general maintenance functions as assigned by school administration.
