JOB DESCRIPTION: 260 Day Calendar

This job requires experience and/or training in a broad range of facility and grounds maintenance. Perform carpentry construction, alterations and repairs; build, install and repair floors, roofs, doors, windows, wood fixtures, and furniture. Under the supervision of an electrician, perform the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and fixtures. Under the supervision of a plumber, perform the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of plumbing equipment and fixtures. Establish and maintain athletic fields and adjacent grounds, equipment, and facilities including grassed areas, shrubs and trees, sidewalks, drives, and parking areas. Perform other general maintenance functions as may be assigned by school administration.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING:
High school diploma/GED or vocational training is preferred. Formal training and/or practical experience in the following trade area: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Basic working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance. Ability to safely operate and maintain related tools and equipment required in these areas.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.
