Job summary

Charter Schools USA Inc. seeks a Facilities Supervisor II to maintain and repair school facilities, oversee maintenance teams, and supervise contractors across multiple locations.

This role emphasizes safety, code compliance, and efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive facilities trade experience, strong supervisory and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate maintenance activities with school operations.

Qualifications

• Education: minimum high school diploma with continuing education in construction or facilities.
• Experience: minimum 7 years of facilities maintenance/construction trade experience.
• Language: proficient English; bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be physically skilled to perform general building repairs within school facilities.
• Manage contractors (general contractors, plumbers, electricians, A/C, locksmiths, etc.).
• Supervise Facilities Maintenance Coordinators, day porters, and hourly staff.
• Monitor time, materials, and scheduling; oversee repairs and projects; track progress and costs.
• Ensure compliance with Building Codes & Standards and OSHA safety procedures.
• Travel within and outside the state as required; participate in training and safety programs.
