Job summary

Savannah-Chatham County Public School System in Savannah, Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Utility Worker to perform a variety of building and equipment maintenance tasks across district facilities. Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma (GaDOE approved) or equivalent.
• Ability to read sketches, drawings and blueprints (preferred).
• Valid Class C driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, repair, or construction tasks to buildings and equipment as assigned.
• Assists with building and grounds upkeep and cleanup of trash and materials.
• Loads/unloads trucks, delivers furniture and supplies using district vehicles.
• Ensures proper safety procedures are followed.
• Cleans equipment and tools and ensures proper storage.
• Other duties as needed for safety and efficiency.
