Job summary

The Cherry Creek School District seeks a versatile maintenance professional to perform building and outdoor upkeep across elementary, middle, and high schools. duties include cleaning, minor repairs, and preventative tasks to keep facilities safe and functional.

You may be reassigned temporarily to other district schools to cover vacancies, with duties spanning painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC basics as needed. Strong teamwork required.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency required.
• Experience in general maintenance or grounds preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance tasks including cleaning, graffiti removal, wall patching and painting, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work.
• Support school activities by setting up, tearing down, and cleaning up; open assigned building at scheduled times.
• Perform outdoor maintenance such as sweeping steps, entryways, and alcoves, trash removal, snow/ice removal, and periodic pressure washing.
• Respond to all school radio and cell phone calls for service; may perform emergency biohazard cleanups.
• Audit facilities and report maintenance needs to the appropriate supporting entity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
